Optometry course details

Optometry courses help the students to pursue a good career in the eye-care industry. For this, the student should undergo an optometry course which is a Four-year Bachelor’s degree college education, B.Sc., or certificate in Optometry. 

The program offers two levels of education such as: 

Undergraduate: It is a full-time course of 3-4 years duration. The candidate needs to complete 10+2 in science to get admission to the optometry course.  

Postgraduate: To get a master’s degree in optometry, the student must complete graduation in optometry. It is a full-time course with a duration of 2 years.  

After completing optometry courses, the candidate can pursue a prospective career in eye-care manufacturing equipment as an administration manager. In addition, eye doctors need dependable assistants to suggest and make glasses, lenses, and other eyecare equipment. As per government rules, only experienced optometrists can work in optical shops and the eye-care manufacturing industry.
